Inspired by high school football games and fall festivals. Tailgating dinner and bobbing for apples!


Dinners Feature Sausage Hoagies with Fries, Beef Stew, and Mac and Cheese.

Baked apple and Stew on Toast Points for lunches. Apple Fritters for a special treat!

Today's discussion focuses on our inspirations. Mine this time was on memories of youth. I was thinking about high school and Friday Nights. We'd meet up at somebody's house whose parents were cooking out before the game. Other Fridays we went to the pizza joint and saw everybody there! And every year there was a party, somewhere. There would be hay bales and pumpkins, a spread of pitch-ins, and, probably as a joke, there was a barrel with apples in it!
